Michael A. Ewing
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Michael A. Ewing
Michael A. Ewing, Chairman and CEO, is one of the founders of Oak View National Bank and has led the organization since its inception. With more than 45 years of banking experience, he previously served in executive roles at Marshall National Bank and Trust Company and led turnaround and recovery efforts at F&M – West Virginia and earlier at Marshall National Bank. He began his career at Farm Credit Service before moving into commercial lending. A graduate of Virginia Tech, the VBA School of Bank Management, and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, he has held leadership roles in statewide and national banking associations.

Kevin A. Lee
Kevin A. Lee, President and Chief Credit Officer, began his banking career in 1992 as a management trainee and advanced through commercial lending to executive leadership. Known for fostering a strong credit culture and supporting sustained loan growth, he is a graduate of Bridgewater College and has completed numerous professional banking programs, including the VBA School of Bank Management.

Randolph S. E. Carter
Randolph S. E. Carter spent 47 years with Clark Brothers Company in Warrenton, Virginia, where he worked as manager and buyer in the sporting goods industry. He served on the board of Marshall National Bank and Trust from 1995 to 2007 and is a former chairman of both the Warrenton Board of Zoning Appeals and the Rappahannock Scenic River Advisory Board. A history graduate of Lynchburg College and a U.S. Navy intelligence duty officer, he now devotes time to his family farm, which has been in continuous operation since 1724.

Earl H. Douple, Jr.
Earl H. Douple, Jr. has served as business manager and Secretary–Treasurer of both Canopy, Inc. and The Plains Redevelopment Corporation in The Plains, Virginia since 1985. With three decades of experience in tax, estate, and financial planning, as well as asset management and allocation, he has contributed significantly to the bank’s direction as a board member since its founding and as Chairman from 2018 to 2021. A graduate of Dickinson College, Georgetown University, and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, he also co‑founded The Plains Park Authority and serves on the board of the Turn the Mill Around Campaign. His previous community roles include service with the Fauquier County Water & Sanitation Authority and The Plains Board of Zoning Appeals.

Alvin F. Henry, a Virginia Tech graduate, began his career with the Farm Credit System as a loan officer and appraiser before establishing Alvin F. Henry Appraisals in 1986. His firm focuses on residential, vacant land, and farm appraisals for local banks, attorneys, and private clients. He previously served on the Marshall National Bank and Trust Board of Directors, held office as a Rappahannock County Supervisor, and currently serves on the county’s Planning Commission. He is also active in his church, where he serves as financial chairman.

Angela K. Post retired as Vice President of Shirley Contracting Company, LLC, where she oversaw Human Resources, Safety, Risk Management, and Business Services. She continues her commitment to community service as a volunteer at the Fauquier Free Clinic, Vice Chair of the Laurel Ridge Community College Foundation Board, and a member of the Finance Committee for the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County.

Angela K. Post retired as Vice President of Shirley Contracting Company, LLC, where she oversaw Human Resources, Safety, Risk Management, and Business Services. She continues her commitment to community service as a volunteer at the Fauquier Free Clinic, Vice Chair of the Laurel Ridge Community College Foundation Board, and a member of the Finance Committee for the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County.

Hanna L. Rodriguez
Hanna L. Rodriguez is a partner at Walker Jones, PC, focusing her legal practice on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for incapacitated adults in several Virginia counties. A graduate of Regent University School of Law and Pensacola Christian College, she supports her community through leadership roles with the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County and service on the PATH Foundation Grants Committee. Her past roles include leadership within the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, the Fauquier County Bar Association, and the Fauquier Free Clinic.

Dr. Norris A. L. Royston, Jr. founded Countryside Family Practice in the Village of Marshall and has practiced there continuously since 1976, holding privileges at both Fauquier and Fairfax hospitals. A graduate of the University of Virginia and the Medical College of Virginia, he has held numerous leadership roles in the medical field, including President of the Medical Society of Virginia and the Fauquier County Medical Society, and served on multiple boards and advisory committees within the profession.

Jean Taylor enjoyed a distinguished career as a Senior Consultant in the federal services and cybersecurity sectors, working for over 25 years in information assurance, continuous monitoring, and governance across the DoD, intelligence community, Fortune 500 companies, and federal agencies. In 2002, she and her husband co‑founded Paradigm Solutions, a Northern Virginia consulting firm offering business coaching, LEAN training, organizational assessments, and strategic planning support.

Maj. Gen. Randall L. West

Maj. Gen. Randall L. West
Randall L. West is President of Robison International, Inc., a Washington, D.C.–based defense and public relations consulting firm. Before entering the private sector, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs and retired as a Major General after a 35‑year career in the U.S. Marine Corps. His service included roles as Legislative Assistant to the Commandant, Special Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, and a Marine aviator with combat deployments in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He earned degrees from the University of North Carolina, Auburn University, and the Naval War College, and continues to serve veterans and his community through leadership roles with Patriots 4 Wounded Veterans and the West Virginia Severely Wounded Foundation, as well as pastoral and chaplaincy roles.

Sarah J. Yakel is a partner at Meridian Financial Partners and a Certified Financial Planner® with more than two decades of experience in investment and trust management. A graduate of Campbell University, she is known for her ability to communicate financial strategies clearly and effectively. She is a founding member of Leadership Fauquier and remains active with several local nonprofit organizations

Donald R. Yowell
Donald R. Yowell is a lifelong resident of Fauquier County and spent his entire 42‑year banking career with Marshall National Bank and Trust Company, where he served as President and CEO from 1991 until 2002 and Chairman from 2005 until 2018. A graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management, he has served in numerous leadership roles within the banking industry and the local community, including positions with the Virginia Association of Community Banks, the Marshall Business and Residents' Association, and the Fauquier Heritage and Preservation Foundation. He has been recognized as Fauquier County Businessperson of the Year and remains deeply involved in civic organizations and his church.
