Oak View National Bank reported strong third-quarter 2018 results, with quarterly net income more than doubling compared to the same period in 2017 and year-to-date earnings increasing nearly 55%. The bank continued to expand its loan portfolio, deposits, and total assets while maintaining solid credit quality and strong regulatory capital levels.

Management attributed the performance to revenue growth from asset expansion, disciplined expense management, and increased noninterest income, despite pressure on net interest margins caused by rising interest rates and deposit competition. Total deposits increased to $194.3 million and assets reached $240.8 million, reflecting continued growth across the bank's service area. Leadership emphasized the bank's commitment to balancing growth, profitability, and sound risk management while continuing to serve its communities throughout Northern Virginia.
