Oak View National Bank reported strong financial results for 2018, achieving a 106.7% increase in annual earnings compared to 2017 while continuing to grow assets, loans, and deposits. Net income reached $1.73 million, supported by higher revenue from lending activities, increased fee income, and disciplined expense management. Total assets grew 9.1% to $238.2 million, gross loans increased to $200.1 million, and deposits rose to $191.2 million, reflecting continued customer growth and market expansion.

Management noted that despite pressure on net interest margins from rising short-term interest rates, the bank improved profitability through asset growth and careful expense control. Credit quality remained strong, with only two nonperforming loans at year-end, underscoring Oak View's commitment to sound community banking and long-term financial stability.
