Oak View National Bank reported strong third-quarter 2016 results, with net income increasing 89.5% compared to the same quarter in 2015 and year-to-date earnings rising 32.3%. The bank continued to benefit from solid loan demand, which drove growth in net interest income while maintaining strong credit quality and disciplined expense management. Total loans increased 13% year over year to $156.7 million, deposits grew 7.9% to $152.1 million, and total assets rose 13.4% to $196 million.
Management noted that the bank was beginning to realize the benefits of investments made in its infrastructure and growth strategy, resulting in improved operating performance. Oak View also maintained strong regulatory capital levels and sound asset quality, with only one nonperforming loan at quarter-end, demonstrating its continued commitment to responsible community banking and long-term financial strength.
