FAUQUIER COUNTY CELEBRATES ITS 250th ANNIVERSARY
2009 is the year that Fauquier County, VA celebrates its 250th Anniversary. Saturday, September 19, the Village of Marshall celebrated this milestone event with street vendors, antique car show and a parade, which included the US Marine Marching Band and much, much more! The whole community pitched in and made this a spectacular day and Oak View National Bank did not miss out on all the fun!
As a community bank, we participated in this celebration by creating a float, “Community Banks Build Better Communities”. It featured a fireman, graduate, doctor, construction worker, and children proudly displaying their favorite sport past-time; showing that Oak View National supports its citizens, businesses and its community.
