OAK VIEW NATIONAL BANK TO OPEN SOON
Warrenton, VA (May 29, 2009) As Oak View National Bank prepares for its grand opening, management is pleased to announce the acquisition of the following officers who add further depth of experience to a very seasoned management team:
Valerie J. Miller of Jeffersonton brings 20 years of broad banking experience in Fauquier County to Oak View as its Vice President for Loan Administration. She formerly served for 15 years at Marshall National Bank in various positions, including extensive service in loan administration and compliance. Valerie is pursuing a B.S. degree in business administration from Strayer University and has attended several banking schools and conferences specific to lending. She and husband Jim have one-year-old twin sons.
Barbara J. Ball will serve as Vice President, Administrative Assistant and Marketing Liaison for Oak View. She brings 26 years’ banking experience in Fauquier County to her position, having served in sales, service, and branch management. Barbara attended Shepherd College and graduated from Monroe Vocational School in West Virginia. She and husband, Toby, live in Marshall.
Stephanie E. Bedow joins Oak View National Bank as Branch Manager of their Marshall Branch. She formerly served the Marshall National Bank for 14 years, advancing through the ranks from teller and customer service representative to assistant branch manager, and has attended several banking schools and conferences. She has been an active volunteer in community and school organizations such as PTA President, parent team representative, Angel Food Network and school office volunteer, and has served as a foster parent. She and husband, Jim, live in Marshall and have two daughters.
Lorry J. Harding adds 26 years of banking experience and will serve as the Warrenton Branch Manager. She formerly served Bank of America as a Mortgage Loan Officer. She has taken many financial and mortgage courses throughout her career. She and husband Tony live in Brandy Station and have two children and four grandchildren.
