OAK VIEW WINS CHILI COOK-OFF

We are proud to announce that Oak View National Bank’s team won a chili cook off on October 2, 2010!  The Young Professionals of Fauquier County hosted the 1st annual Chili Pepper Brew Fest at Lord Fairfax Community College to raise money for the college.  Oak View National put together a stalwart team anchored by Ashley Gagne’ who cooked a fabulous “Buffalo Chicken Chili”; Jeremy Noel whose “Tasty Steak” won the hearts of many and Sam Parker who took judges across the globe with an “Indian Chili”.  The team was also strongly supported with impressive servers, Brittney Edwards and Shannon Castro.  Oak View took home the People’s Choice for best chili award.  We are proud of our award and a special thanks goes out to all of the volunteers who gave their time and work, but never their recipe!
